Sandi Appreciates Use of Social Media to Promote Museum

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno appreciates and welcomes the positive use of social media to promote the museum in Jakarta.

It would be nice how we promote the museum as the ancestral value of the nation can be done via social media.

Sandi disclosed technological developments nowadays need to be part of innovation to further socialize the existence of the museum.

Social Media Communities Invited to Socialize River Cleanliness

"It would be nice how we promote the museum as the ancestral value of the nation can be done via social media. I welcome activities initiated by Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept.," he expressed, during the doorprize handover of Jakarta Museum On Social Media Competition at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (12/13) night.

He assessed every existing museum should be guided by art that is divided into three parts, namely originality, relevant, and can tell the true story.

"Information via social media is very effective to be able to answer the curiosity of people to the museum," he uttered.

As known, Jakarta Museum on Social Media Competition is divided into three categorizes. They are Photography, Blog, and Vlog.

The best Photography category is achieved by Nafriadi Ahmad with works "Museum di Jakarta Cerminan Diri Indonesia yang Lebih Baik".

There is also the best Blog category where it is achieved by Aprilia Ramadhina with works "Gue Pengen Museum di Jakarta Jadi Primadona Mempesona".

Further the best Vlog category is achieved by Yudistira Sondakh with works "Museum Viral".
